Real World Fake Data

Real World Fake Data began during the days of COVID with the an idea of brining real world scenarios and data visualizations to Tableau Public to serve as example of what is possible in our day to day work. Using synthetic data sets from different industries, or different professional departments and functions many have participated over the past years.

Recently Data.World, where all the data was stored, announced that there were closing their doors, so I moved some of the data to Github. The problem is that some of the datasets were larger in nature and there is a size limitation on Github, so those have been lost to time. The remainging datasets you can find linked below!

Season 1 was data created using Mockaroo, Season 2 was Tableau Accelerators, Season 3 (The Lost Season) was Tableau Cloud Admin Insights, and Season 4 was a reduex of Season 1 using AI to generate better datasets.
