#RWFD Season 2 Part 5 – Diversity Dashboard

For the month of February, in observation of Black History Month, we’re working on creating a Diversity Dashboard.

Requirements

Business Statement:

The Executive Team believes diversity is essential to creating an environment that fosters creativity and productivity and creating a space where everyone is respected and valued. To support this effort, we are launching a Diversity Dashboard that will provide us with insights into our current employee data to help ensure we are hiring and retaining diverse talent at all levels of the organization, and determine areas for improvement.

Key Questions to Answer:

  • How diverse is our organization? What percent of employees overall are diverse?
  • How does this break out into diversity sub-groups (eg. women, race groups)
  • What percent of employees in high-level positions are diverse?
  • Are any job levels over or under-represented by diverse employees?
  • Are there any trends in tenure of diverse employees?
  • How satisfied are our diverse employees, and how does that compare to the overall satisfaction?
  • What is the performance rating for our diverse employees and how does that compare to the overall performance rating on average?
  • Would like to be able to drill in by diverse (women and PoC), PoC only, and by race group
  • Are there trends in hiring of diverse employees?
  • Are diverse groups over/under-represented in attrition
