Welcome (back) to Sons of Hierarchies! After a nasty hacking incident, we are back and rebuilding. Tons of content was lost with no easy way to recover it, but I’m working on it.
Sons of Hierarchies started as a joke of sorts. Going into the 2015 Tableau Conference there were a few of us on Twitter talking about riding motorcycles in the desert and Dan Montgomery used the hashtag #SonsOfHierarchies. I was feeling creative and made a goofy shirt.
A few people expressed interest in a shirt, so Aaron Romeo and I decided to sell a few and raise money for the Tableau Foundation. After TC15, I wanted to start a blog, so I registered SonsOfHierarchies.com and the site was born.
